For grades 6-12. Registration appreciated at 424-5021 or by email to Alex, the Young Adult Librarian.

TAB(Teen Advisory Board)
Teens interested in helping plan and brainstorm new and exciting programs are welcome to participate. TAB is a chance for teens to give constructive input and to make a difference in their library. New members are always welcome. This is a great way to get valuable volunteer experience while serving your community. Watch this page for upcoming dates or contact Young Adult Librarian Alex Estabrook by email for more information.

Tuesday, 9/22 6-8pm - Teen Manga/Animé Club
Watch and discuss your favorite animé movies with the group! Let us know about your favorite manga series in the discussion and tell the group why it’s the best. Play collectible card games based on your favorite characters with your friends. This is a great way to recommend new series to your friends and the Library. Upcoming dates include Wed. 10/22.

Wednesday, 9/9 3-4:30pm - Teen Hangout
Need something to do after school? Come hangout at the library for games, reading and crafts. No registration required. Open to teens in grades 6-12. Upcoming dates include Wed. 10/7 and Tue. 10/27.

OnLine Book Club for Teen Readers
[book club] The OnLine Book Club is a great way for readers to try out new books from home. Each day, Monday through Friday, subscribers are sent an email that contains a portion of book that takes about 5 minutes to read. Subscribers are able to read two or three chapters from a book during the week and, if they like it, can borrow it from the library. Each week a new book is featured in different categories (like Fiction, NonFiction, Mystery, Science Fiction) with a special category just for Teens. Subscribers can
also share their thoughts and comments about the books in an online Book Club Forum. There are no obligations and email addresses will not be sold or forwarded to other services or companies. Check the bottom of each email message for current library news, too. If you find you don't enjoy the format, unsubscribing is also easy. Try it out - click on the logo to subscribe.
