A database of fiction titles recommended by readers that includes ratings, reviews, and discussion forums. The database has numerous search options and grows as readers contribute titles.

Library Thing
LibraryThing is an online service to help people catalog their books easily. You can access your catalog from anywhere-even on your mobile phone. Because everyone catalogs together, LibraryThing also connects people with the same books, comes up with suggestions for what to read next, and so forth.

Shelfari makes it easy to see what your friends are reading, what others with similar tastes have enjoyed, and even get and give book recommendations.

Similar Authors
A free service that provides information about "readalikes"--authors similar to those you already love. Simply enter an author's name in the search area at the top of each page, click Submit, and view a list of similar authors.
