An excellent resource for consumer information from the federal government. This is a simple resource that brings together federal resources of interest to consumers in many categories. The "ScamAlert" section provides information concerning various catagories to update consumers about particular incidents.

Identity Theft Resource Center
Identity Theft Resource Center® (ITRC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to the understanding and prevention of identity theft. It provides victim and consumer support as well as public education.
