NH resident Marty Kelley brings years of teaching experience to his high energy, fun filled presentations. He will talk about the process of writing and illustrating a book, from the initial idea to the final product. He will also give a fun behind the scenes look at how his books developed and changed over time along with a drawing demonstration with samples of the actual artwork used in his books. This program is generously funded by a donation from the Merrimack Friends & Family. Find out what a Gypsy Wagon Book is and make an awesome fashion statement with a Mini-Book Necklace. Celebrate this very special day by planting seeds using recycled materials! Learn about the history of Earth Day and the basics of reducing, reusing and recycling. Join us for this special Drop-in Storytime featuring Tumblebooks, one of the Library's online resources. Meet the real vikings: the notorious raiders, merchants, and explorers of medieval seas. In this program, children will learn about real Vikings, their lives and the reasons they set out on their adventures, in an interactive talk with pictures.
